Bagel Boss of King is a New York–style bagel and café shop located in the King’s Crossing Market Center at 152 Kingscote Way in King. The shop brings the authentic taste of Long Island bagels to the region, offering freshly baked bagels, gourmet spreads, breakfast sandwiches, smoked fish, pastries, salads, and coffee in a welcoming neighborhood setting.
Part of the nationally recognized Bagel Boss brand, which began on Long Island in the 1970s, the King location represents the company’s first venture into North Carolina. William HerreraTalk about taking me back home!!!! Now southerners will now why we are fascinated with Bagels! Move over biscuits, Bagel Boss has arrived!!! Located in a small brand new shopping center in King and just a short drive from Winston Salem. This is a true NY style bagel place. And if your from Long Island like me than you know why I’m so excited. As soon as you walk in to this cozy place that fresh aroma of hot bagels hits you and your taste buds start going crazy. The display of bagels in the background of all the different types and then the spreads in front of you make it hard to make up your mind! Plain, scallion, lox, etc, they are all delicious. You can also get the BEC, or SEC…..no that does not stand for basketball conferences, its Sausage Egg & Cheese! IYKyK…..A NY staple and the reason some of us are a little Husky🤣 my wife and I got the SEC on an everything bagel. It came out in full display, cut in half, you could tell right away it was all fresh, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, hot sausage patties and gooey melted American cheese. I took my 1st bite with my eyes closed and it took me home. Talk about a mouthful of flavor. You got the taste of every ingredient in every bite. I know you southerners will give up your biscuits once you try a bagel! Of course we had to wash it down with a freshly brewed I ed coffee. We also took home a dozen mixed bagels and a half pound each of plain and scallion cream cheese! Gotta keep this husky figure in shape! Take a ride out to King for the Bagel Boss King, I guarantee you will not be disappointed

Brandy Vestal10 outta 10! So good. I had the Reuben and I'm not going lie my first thought was, hmm slaw instead of sauerkraut? Interesting. But they used Russian dressing instead of thousand Island which is important to me hah. That everything bagel toasted Reuben sandwich was fire. Seriously delicious. I don't recall the name of the bagel sandwich my husband got but it was also delicious. I'm definitely going back for breakfast bagels and buying some bagels to have at home. It was like being back in NYC. My only complaint is I do wish they had a soda machine inside and it would be perfect lol. (I know NYC bagel shops don't have soda machines. But this is King lol) I was so surprised to find such a delicious bagel shop in King! Follow the bagel up with a black and white cookie or walk across the parking lot to the sweetery and grab a cinnamon roll or peach scone. (To die for) It's in a cute little shopping center that I hope more stores open in. Cute little area.

Jewellianna BellWhere to even begin…. This place is something else. The bagel and cream cheese selection was HUGE! Walking in it was almost like an ice cream shop but instead of ice cream it was cream cheese spreads and mixes! I liked that you are able to customize your sandwich from Toppings to having the bagel lightly toasted or even scooped! 10/10 will be back!

Sergio CruzThe bagel was average at best. The prices are astounding. I paid $15 for my bagel, it was made relatively quick. They do have a bunch of options but the bang for the buck is most certainly not there. Would I go back ? I doubt it.

Hannah BarlowMy go-to is the French toast bagel with cinnamon bun cream cheese for a sweet treat. My husband likes the gf everything bagel with butter or egg salad. Don’t go in rush hour or you may have to wait though (doesn’t bother me too bad because that’s a sign of a good restaurant). I like to go when they open and they’re fresh out the oven.
