HMF Film Fest returns to the Palmetto Theatre of Walnut Cove on October 16th & 17th, 2026 for two nights of independent horror, creepy atmosphere, and a full-on celebration of the genre we love.
Now entering our 9th year, HMF brings together horror fans, filmmakers, and creators for a weekend packed with independent features, short films, and unique voices from North Carolina and beyond.
Whether you're a die-hard horror fan, looking for something different to do this Halloween season, or just want a couple of fun nights at the movies, come spend them with us in Walnut Cove.
