In 2012, a new bluegrass band was formed: Christal Creek. Before stepping onto the stage, the band wanted to make a statement about its mission—to praise Jesus Christ through bluegrass-based
acoustic music. That conviction inspired the members to change the traditional spelling of Crystal to Christal (pronounced the same), reflecting their commitment to honoring Christ in both their name and their music.
Before forming Christal Creek, the members performed with various bands across a variety of musical genres. Those diverse experiences have helped shape the band's unique sound while
remaining firmly rooted in bluegrass.
Christal Creek is known for its tight vocal harmonies. Although the members are not related, audiences often ask if they are family because of how well their voices blend together. The group is
blessed with talented musicians and vocalists who enjoy pushing creative boundaries by transforming traditional country and classic rock songs into bluegrass arrangements.
In addition to performing traditional bluegrass, Christal Creek continues to write and perform original music, always striving to expand its repertoire with songs that will connect with audiences.
