Will require hiking half of the Moores Wall Loop (strenuous, red blazes) to get to it. Let's say 2.3 miles or so. The rock itself looks like it was set on top of another, hence the "balanced" part. Not sure how the rock came to be and would be a tad interested in knowing. May be worth some research. There isn't much standing area around it but perhaps ten folks could get near it. It's a great feature of the Moores Wall Loop and an excellent, varied addition to an already great state park.
