First time here for a childs graduation party. I was pleasantly surprised of the inside. Very clean & organized. Esthetically pleasing with the lights, games, snack food area. They had the roller skates assisted for those who couldn't skate well. Staff was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend

This place was great! We were on vacation and my son, who is An amazing skater, has to hit every local rink we visit. He told me halfway through his session that this was the cleanest and nicest rink we've visited outside of his home rink in Charlotte (Kate's Skates). They do a great job at vacuuming the off rink areas and keeping the skate floor clean and shined. Price of entry was great and concessions were at a good price point as well. Spoke to the owner a bit and he clearly loves the sport/activity and it shows. Super knowledgeable and shared with us about all the rinks in Florida to visit for future trips. Was also the ONLY place we found that was open on a Monday, when most rinks are closed. Next time we are in Central Florida, will definitely stop by here again. Very impressed!

What a hidden gem!!!! I grew up in King skating at Skate Way, when they closed down years ago I thought that was the end of Skating in King,NC. NOPE!!! Skate Factory is located inside of the "Old Hastings" building. You park across the street and there's a crosswalk to safely cross over. At night they have lights and a crossing guard for extra safety, shows they really care about the kids. ( This is a reoccurring theme the whole night btw) Once you get inside, you pay at the door cash or card. Very reasonable prices for our family of 5 to enter and rent skates. The skates were nearly brand new, well maintained, they even had in line skates to rent. There's "walkers" on wheels for the "kids" but let's be honest, I used it at first to get a handle on things! 😅 There is concessions, pizza, pop corn, shaved ice, sodas, water, chips and candy. The brown haired girl behind the counter Saturday night was so dang sweet, I just wanted to bottle up her happiness and take it with me!!! They had arcade games and lots of tables, I will say they could use more benches, but they do they best they can with the space they have. Bathrooms aren't top notch, but have you ever been to a skating rink that had luxury bathrooms?😆 The skating floor is wood, is not awfully lumpy like I've seen others say. By no means did any of us beginners or anyone there struggle to Skate from the floor. If we fell it was lack of experience, dont anyone lie to you! Also, the whole time I was there. The manager was on the over head speakers keeping unruly kids in line. They have cameras everywhere to keep down mischief and keep the place family friendly. They cut the lights off and have fun music with lights, my kids LOVED that and the games they play. The games were my favorite, it reminded me of being a kid again. I wish they would do more games but I know most people aren't there for the games...I'm just nostalgic now that I am older. I wished they would've done the fun dance along songs like cotton eyed Joe, YMCA etc. Still we had an amazing time!! The building was nice and warm even though it was freezing outside and they had fans for when the fun makes you break a sweat! We will definitely be back, we are so happy to have a place like this nearby!!

I gave it 4 stars. It was fun however extremely HOT 🔥. They try to cool it off with fans but it became unenjoyable after awhile due to the heat. Needs some AC or something in there. Other than that, we had a blast.
