Hanging Rock State Park

Hanging Rock State Park covers over 8,000 acres of property, having more than 18 miles of maintained trails leading to vistas, waterfalls, sparkling streams, a 12 acre lake and historic Civilian Conservation Corps facilities. Set over the highest peaks of the Sauratown Mountains, with recreational areas, camping, observation tower and rock climbing, by permit.

Hanging Rock State Park River Access is located at the end of Flinchum Road. There is also a trail that runs along the river called RiverBluffs Trail, this trail connects into Indian Creek Trail and provides access to the park.
