You are invited to take a stroll on trails that roam 40 acres of rolling countryside, or fish in the well-stocked bass pond, sit on one of the porches and enjoy a snack, conversation, or quiet time. Our Labrador Retriever may greet you when you arrive. She thinks guests only come to visit her. Deer often graze in the yard and eat from the persimmon trees.
The cozy library/den, overlooks the woods and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Relax with books, magazines, games, television, a DVD and CD player, Wi-Fi or just enjoy some free time. There are two bedrooms with adjoining baths on either side of the den.
Grandmother's house has a large living/dining room with sliding glass doors leading to a porch overlooking the formal gardens. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guest use with a dining area overlooking the front porch. There are two bedrooms with King size beds and Jacuzzi baths, and one bedroom with a double bed with full bath. All are en-suite.
