Country Getaway

Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

The space

We are close to Stuart VA and you may enjoy the beach music festival or the apple dumpling festival. There is a lot to do in Patrick county VA and Stokes County, NC!

There are horses on our property and you may see us riding in the arena, cleaning stalls and feeding animals. Please do not ever feed the horses or pet the horses unless we are present. We also have a few resident roosters that have made it their life’s mission to make sure they alert everyone of the coming day at sunrise. If you don’t like animals or animal behaviors (noises etc) you may want to look for a place less animal-ly. Lol Dogs are welcome as long as they are potty trained, flea free and not allowed on the furniture please.

The entire "cottage apartment" is yours to use and enjoy as well as the back porch which is equipped with a gas grill, patio furniture and a fire pit.

Other things to note

This is a working farm so you will likely see and hear cattle, horses, mules and chickens! Enjoy!
