Tobie Sparks- MayfieldThe visitor center was a really helpful stop, especially before heading out on the trails. There were maps, information about the park, exhibits, restrooms, Wi-Fi information (there is NO signal), and a small shop with basic supplies and souvenirs. I also appreciated being able to grab travel-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash after realizing I hadn’t packed everything I needed. The staff were friendly, and it was a nice place to cool off and regroup during an extremely hot weekend. I would definitely recommend stopping here before starting your hikes, especially if it’s your first visit.

Michael WhiteGreat time. I took my son for a overnight stay at campsite 66 which was right at a water station and right down the way from the bathroom which was nice because we didn't get the foot traffic. The park is very busy. Which if staying overnight keep that in mind with neighbors who may not be considerate to others at quiet hours. The park as a whole is beautiful. My son went on a junior ranger program with Ranger Jackson who was great. The park as wonderful wildlife and enough trails to keep you busy. Easy trails for kids also. It's self check in at the campsite with your vehicle camping tags at the self check in kiosk. They do have a bathhouse at the lake and a wonderful visitor center. The ranger do drive through the camp grounds at night and check on things before calling it a night but they are on call. The camp ground host only takes cash for firewood but if you are paying by card you can get firewood at the visitor center. Wonderful time. The gift shop is a little small if you were wanting to ship around.

SharonThere are restrooms and a young lady that was working that told us about the park and the best closest food was in a town called King. There are no food or beverages at the visiting center

Jessie GarciaAmazing views! Definitely was an intense hike for us. However, we did it while I was pregnant and my husband was recovering from foot surgery. So if you’re not going through either of those it might not be as intense. But the views were definitely worth it! Hope we can go back and do it again!
