Riverside Retreat
Our scenic Dan River primitive campsite is private and secluded. It has plenty of cleared space for setting up a tent or tents to camp. It is wooded area all around the cleared campsite space with two access spots to the Dan River. The site sits on about a one acre lot. Great for fishing, sun bathing or just putting your feet in the water and relaxing! This is a great space for family camping! It has a built in fire pit. It has plenty of shade and a nice large flat space for easy tent set-up.
The space
One river access is within view of the campsite, just down a small cleared hill. A second access is a short walk down a wooded trail and down a small hill. There you will find large flat rocks that you can climb out onto the river on. A third access is also down a wooded area and leads to a beach area. The river access is perfect for cooling off on hot days. Tube or kayak right to your own spot!

We do not allow dogs or any other animals.
