LeahGail and her team were overall fantastic. Their execution of my vision was flawless and really filled out our ceremony/reception space. Her years of experience and familiarity with the space (Castle McCulloch) were a boon. We were able to plan out florals that fit our budget through a mixture of real and faux florals and greenery. We opted to faux florals and greenery on any areas not at eye level, like around the chandelier, above the castle doors, and along railings, while the bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces were all real. She also provided florals to the baker for the wedding cake which added some cohesion throughout the space. We also accented tables with some lanterns and candles for ambiance during the reception. Gail's office is a bit out of the way, up in Danbury, but worth the drive to sit down in person with her and plan. I came prepared with a color scheme and Gail asked many helpful planning questions. Bennett's is a preferred vendor of Castle McCulloch so you'll receive a percentage discount on part of your venue fee if you book with her. Our only complaint is that after our initial planning meeting it was difficult to get back in contact with Gail. I needed a copy of the contract to give to the Castle McCulloch team and it took a couple of months to get it. Each time I followed up, it was like she had a different excuse of why the contract wasn't ready. Obviously, in the end, everything was great, but plan ahead with Gail so you aren't stressing out.

Gail supported us by even going out of her way to supply us with natural deer antlers to match our themed wedding decor. She rolled with the punches over the course of a full year of event date changes (due to COVID), and truly brought the whole look of our wedding together - just like we envisioned it!
