Ryan LittlesLocated roughly 6 miles from Hanging Rock State Park down a gravel road that looks like it’s going to take you somewhere from wrong turn. When we first arrived the building looked like an average country dive bar but the inside was surprisingly nice. We got there a little late but the bartender gave us a beer even after last call. So many beers on draft to choose from! This place also sits on the river and you can rent kayaks for the day which is a nice surprise. Also, there was a sign about the snakes on the patio. Kinda wanna know the history of it.

David DannerThere is a little known place in the woods, with terrific charm & appeal to the outdoors crowd. Whether you’re kayaking, hiking or biking, this is the local place to quench your thirst. Seating on the covered patio by the river, or inside. Not serving meals at the time we went. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly too.

Allan KyleGo here. Perfect spot to grab a beer after a hike. Almost too perfect spot hanging right over the Dan river. Walk down and skip some rocks. Great people, great beer selection.

Donna BeckPerfect place to hang out after a trip down the river, or after hiking/biking a trail at Hanging Rock. Patio seating, and picnic tables. They rent kayaks/tubes for the Dan River. Open seasonally.

Candace KaufmanThis place is a hidden little gem! Great selection of beers, friendly staff and it's on the river. You can sit on the covered porch and watch people go down the Dan River or follow the path down to the water and sit on the rocks and sand and dip your feet in while you drink. I'll take this little place to spend a day over any other brewery around!
